Is it just a smaller iPad or is there more to it?

The iPad Mini released on the Friday November 2nd 2012. The iPad Mini was designed at an 7.9in screen display to compete with its rivals, Amazon Kindle Fire HD, Android Tablets etc.

Apple boss Tim Cook stated: "not just a shrunken down iPad... an entirely new design... you can hold it in one hand..."

The Features of the iPad Mini:

• The iPad Mini is 7.2mm thin (as thin as a pencil!)
• Weighs 0.68lbs - half the weight of an iPad (as light as a pad of paper).
• iPad mini comes in 2 colours - Black and Slate or White and Silver
• The screen size is 7.9 diagonally.
• Screen resolution of 1024 x 768
• iPad Mini has a 5mp iSight Camera and a HD FaceTime front side camera.
• iPad Mini has a dual core A5 chip processor and LTE download.
• The WiFi is twice as fast as the iPad.
• 10 hours of battery life.
• Memory capacity of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
• 2 models WiFi (connects to internet over Wi-Fi networks) or WiFi and Cellular (connects to internet over Wi-Fi and fast mobile data networks).
• Over 275,000 apps to download.
